This traditional-style main bathroom is all about hidden spaces. We love finding usable space where others think it’s not possible. People look at dormers and see slanted ceilings and wasted space. I look at dormers and wonder how much space is available inside each dormer. This client enjoys a place for everything and everything in its place. She wanted a place to iron laundry on the 2nd floor by a window, a place to put dirty laundry without having to look at laundry baskets, a folding station, increased storage around the vanity and she didn’t want to climb over a bathtub to have a shower - and we delivered! This timeless beauty is being enjoyed many years later.
Check it out! We made great use of the cavity inside a dormer by installing a cabinet with a fold-down ironing board with additional storage. The separate laundry cabinet with hidden baskets is a personal favourite.
Check out the pull-out storage. This vanity is no longer the ugly duckling. We transformed it from outdated with hard-to-reach storage to being easily accessible with lots of storage and gorgeous!
