No “reno” required for this stunning farmhouse from the early 1800’s. A little facelift in the kitchen is all they needed. The owners, a previous interior designer with a new career (no pressure) and her husband are empty nesters with very busy careers who have been wanting to update the kitchen for years but simply didn’t have time. Most important to them is quality, function and yes, it has to look like it belongs in a farmhouse . . . and we nailed it! They love their new kitchen with additional storage.
Let me highlight a few of my personal favorites that truly elevate the space. The warm and inviting wormy maple butcher block not only adds a rustic touch but also serves as a practical and stylish workspace. The backsplash, both timeless and elegant, brings a touch of sophistication to the entire kitchen. And, of course, the stunning kitchen sink becomes a focal point, seamlessly marrying form and function. This is just the beginning of a list that celebrates the exquisite details woven into this kitchen transformation.
