A Bathroom Ready for a Complete Transformation
After 13 years in their home, the homeowners were ready to say goodbye to their original 1980s ensuite.
The bathroom was extremely outdated and had several functional challenges. The homeowners had never used the shower because they were concerned it would leak. Instead, it had become a storage area for the vacuum cleaner, extra toilet paper and other household items.
The unusual layout also included a step up to the toilet and a step up to the sunken bathtub, making the space awkward to navigate.
They wanted a bathroom that was not only more attractive but also practical and comfortable—a space they would actually look forward to using.

Making Every Day More Enjoyable
One of the homeowners' priorities was eliminating the awkward steps and creating an ensuite with a continuous floor level.
We redesigned the layout to create one continuous floor level, incorporating a curbless walk-in shower, a new bathtub and toilet, and a double vanity with improved storage.

Updated fixtures, finishes and cabinetry brought a fresh, cohesive look to the room while addressing the frustrations of the original layout.
